"99 and Burr St." is an homage to the Oakland neighborhood I moved to as a child. I focused on the emotions that I felt that first year in Oakland. The Joy, the Turmoil, The Goofy shit, & everything in between. I learned in the arms of this neighborhood that my words are my weapons. My tongue is my sword, and my soul is my armor.
